Mark Tunnell

Assistant Director of Day Admission, 6-12

Mark Tunnell has served as assistant director of admission at Darlington since 2012. He currently serves as the assistant middle school girls’ basketball coach, assistant varsity girls’ basketball coach, and head JV girls’ basketball coach. He has also coached varsity tennis at Darlington. Mark holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Shorter College and served the school as assistant director of admission and, later, as the director of alumni relations. He also has more than a decade of experience in sales. Mark enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid basketball fan. He and his wife Kim, director of fine arts at Darlington, are the parents of Jack (’15), Hillary (’18) and Sarah (’22).
