Darlington senior Lindsay Evans was named High School MVP for area girls' teams and the Lady Tigers were named Co-Team of the Year along with the Model Lady Blue Devils. Lady Tigers Coach Josh Hembree was named Co-Coach of the Year for the girls' along with Model coach Sally Echols. Evans and senior Cam Collins were honored as Darlington's Players of the Year.
Next, Collins and junior Maggie Beth Atha were named Players of the Month for December, while senior Marvin Mugisha and junior Terar Stewart were named Players of the Month for January. The Lady Tigers were named Team of the Month and Coach Hembree was honored as Coach of the Month for January.
Additionally, the Middle School boys' basketball team was named Middle School Team of the Year with head coach Kevin Ivester ('87) earning Coach of the Year.
