Darlington team wins state math tournament championship

Nob Congpuong ('16), Peter Liu ('18), Alexander Roberts ('16), and David Wu ('18) comprised the team that won the Class AA division, coached by mathematics teacher Al Shorey.

Teams worked both together and individually in the competition, and content covered included everything from calculus to number theory, and combinatorics.

The event is sponsored each year by the Georgia Council of Teachers of Mathematics.
