Senior Week: Band Recognition

Damon Harvey | May 6, 2020 | 110 views

The Upper School Band has enjoyed taking the time to recognize its only senior member this year - Caleb Baldwin. As our senior Drumline Captain, Caleb has been an essential performer in the group, and has been influential in many positive ways during our 2019-2020 season.

Throughout this year, Caleb has led with strong integrity by caring for younger band members and empowering us with confidence from the percussion section. He is this year's recipient of the Outstanding Contributions to Stadium Band Award, 8 Years of Continuous Instrumental Service Award, and he is also the winner of Darlington's John Philip Sousa National Band Award - the highest achievement that can be bestowed on any high school band musician.

Always wanting the band to be better, Caleb has made it to the finish line of our program with true grit and passion. He is impossible to replace and will be missed often in the Zelle rehearsal room. See this senior recognition video to hear more of Caleb's accomplishments.
