Student-athletes recognized at Fall Sports Assembly

Outstanding athletes in varsity cheerleading, cross country, football, softball and volleyball were recognized at the Fall Sports Assembly on Tuesday, Dec. 1, in Morris Chapel.

In cheerleading: 

Seniors Ivy Watters and Maddie Bradshaw from Rome, Ga. each received the Academic Award.
Senior Zoe Dillmon from Rome, Ga. received the Pillar Award. 
Senior Caroline McRay from Rome, Ga. received the Most Valuable Performer Award. 

In girls’ cross country: 

Junior Maria Peloggia Pinto from Sao Paulo, Brazil received the Academic and Pillar Awards. 
Sophomore Kate Scott from Rome, Ga. received the Most Valuable Performer Award. 

In boys’ cross country: 

Senior Eli Baldwin from Rome, Ga. received the Academic and Pillar Awards. 
Freshman Grant Cross from Rome, Ga. received the Most Valuable Performer Award. 

In football: 

Senior Luke Lewis from Rome, Ga. received the Academic and Captain Awards.
Senior Thomas Speed from Rome, Ga. received the Captain Award.  

In softball: 

Sophomore Belle Brooks from Rome, Ga. received the Academic and Most Valuable Performer Awards. 
Sophomore Addison Payne of Acworth, Ga. received the Academic Award. 
Junior Evie Shadday of Rome, Ga. received the Pillar Award.  

In volleyball: 

Junior Sarah Tunnell of Rome, Ga. received the Academic and Most Valuable Performer Awards. 
Senior Graysen Morgan of Rome, Ga. received the Pillar Award.
