Welcome to Episode 61 of The Darlington Podcast!

In this episode, Carson Raymond, director of major gifts, chats with real estate professional Regan (Maki) Couch ('98, LD '14), who recently served as a panelist at the Darlington Connects Atlanta Lunch & Learn event. Couch reflects on her time as a Darlington student and her career in the real estate industry. Raymond and Couch recap the panel discussion on real estate and highlight the benefits of Darlington Connects.

Carson Raymond has served as director of major gifts since 2019 and spends much of his time on the road visiting with alumni, listening to their stories, and sharing news about what's going on at Darlington today. He is often featured as the host of Darlington Connects episodes of The Darlington Podcast. Carson's previous roles at Darlington, from 2010-2012, included teaching Upper School Spanish, coaching soccer, and working with the residential program.

Regan (Maki) Couch ('98, LD '14) attended Darlington as a three-year boarding student from Atlanta. While here, she was an RA (resident assistant), a member of the Y-Cabinet, a tour guide, and a cheerleader. She has stayed active with Darlington since graduation and has served on the Alumni Council, as a class agent, as a Fairy DarMother, as a phone-a-thon caller, and as a Career Day speaker. Regan attended the University of Alabama and is the principal/team lead for the Regan Maki Team. She and her team specialize in the sale and acquisition of residential properties in numerous locations throughout Greater Atlanta and across the region. She lives in Johns Creek with her husband, Cal, and their two children.
