The Upper School Wind Ensemble proudly left their mark on our Fall for the Arts Season by performing their fall concert during chapel. This concert ensemble performed three pieces of quality wind band literature: Bridgeview Overture (Ed Huckeby), Darklands March (Randall Standridge), and Black Forest Overture (Michael Sweeney).
The topic for this chapel service was creating music on a team. Several of our seniors spoke on their experiences in Darlington's Band. The videos posted here capture our music but only some of the faces in the band. The full Wind Ensemble included Ziyi Yang (senior Flute), Teresa Jin (senior Flute), William Zhang (senior Clarinet), Elva Wang (junior Clarinet), William Hughes (senior Bass Clarinet), Leah Houser (junior Alto Saxophone), Grant Cross (sophomore Tenor Saxophone), Tommy Cowan (sophomore Trombone), Ben Scarbrough (senior Euphonium), Tim Valancius (freshman Larry), Trinity Zeigler (senior Percussion), William Wang (junior Percussion), Tripp Watterson (freshman Percussion).
