Sam Clark

English Teacher

Sam Clark has taught Upper School English and served on the residential duty staff since 2017. He coaches volleyball in the fall and boys' lacrosse in the spring. Sam holds a B.A. in English­ from Rhodes College, where he also played lacrosse and worked as an editor for two newspapers, and is currently pursuing an M.A. from the Middlebury Bread Loaf School of English. He graduated as a day student from a boarding school, Western Reserve Academy, where he spent the following summers working as a counselor, teacher, and director in various camps.

Clark to teach Upper School English

August 15, 2017
Samuel Clark will teach English at the Upper School and assist with crew and lacrosse. This will be Clark’s first teaching job, though he brings much experience with him from coaching various sports, counseling and directing at camps, assisting with drama programs and participating in many forms of journalism.
