Darlington School will officially welcome the holidays with the 40th Annual Service of Lessons & Carols on Sunday, Dec. 10, at 7 p.m. in Morris Chapel. This free event is open to the public and sponsored by the Darlington "Y" Cabinet, and will be led primarily by members of the student body.

Calista (Harden) Smith (’95, LD ’18) knew as early as sixth grade that she wanted to go to boarding school. She was fascinated by the idea of living and learning in the same space, and jumped at the chance to move from Ohio to Georgia to attend Darlington her freshman year.

After a transformative three-year boarding experience, she went on to study abroad in college, travel extensively, and forge a successful 30+-year career for a large bio-pharmaceutical company with a global presence.

Sergel and based on the Emmy award-winning television movie “12 Angry Men,” by Reginald Rose. Performances are Oct. 13-15 in the Zelle Black Box Theatre. Showtimes are 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. on Sunday.
