Matt has taught seventh and eighth grade English and coached middle school football at Darlington since 2024. He holds a B.A. in English Teaching from the University of New Hampshire, an M.S. in Instructional Design, Development & Evaluation from Syracuse University, and a Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction from Boston College. In his 17 years in education, Matt has held administrative, faculty support, and teaching roles at both the middle and high school levels. He and his wife, Jessica, director of the Teaching & Learning Center, are the parents of Brecken (’25), Cooper (’27), and Finley (’30).
