Aaron McCollum has taught Upper School math since 2022. He holds a B.S. in Mathematics and an M.A.T. in Secondary Education with a Math Concentration from Augusta University as well as certification in Mathematics (6-12) and Gifted. Prior to becoming a teacher, McCollum spent five-and-a-half years studying and working as a mechanical engineer only to be reminded that his true passion is education. Most recently, he has been teaching math and computer science courses at Westside High School in Augusta, where he also coaches the Math Team and serves as assistant coach of the Robotics Team.
