Delightascope - Session 2

A 45-year-old tradition here in Rome and Floyd County, Camp Delightascope is a half-day summer camp experience designed specifically for the unique needs and interests of children ages 3-7.

Camp Delightascope offers engaging, hands-on activities that spark curiosity, build confidence, and teach campers just how much fun learning can be. For the youngest campers, camp serves as a joyful introduction to a school setting in a low-pressure environment.

This unique experience encourages campers to learn and play through exploration and discovery in a space where they are safe, supported, loved, and happy. Memories made at Camp Delightascope will last a lifetime. Space is limited so reserve your spot early.

Activities

Our program, which takes place in the grade 3-5 hall at Thatcher Hall, provides the following developmentally appropriate activities for children led by Upper School student counselors:

  • Arts and Crafts
  • Math and Science
  • Music
  • Games and Activities
  • Story Time
  • Snack Time

Campers should bring a bag/backpack and water bottle, both clearly labeled with their name.

Note: All campers MUST be potty-trained in order to attend camp.
