While at camp, the cheerleaders will work on cheers, dances, tumbling, and paint actual run-through and fence signs. Bring your own water bottle and snack. We are limited to two groups 15 camp participants due to social distancing. Camp participants will receive a set of their own Darlington pom-poms and a camp T-shirt.

About the directors
Bebe Cline has taught fifth grade at Darlington since 2005. She currently serves as Team Leader for grades 3-5. She has coached varsity cheerleading at Darlington since 2011. Bebe holds a B.A. from Mercer University, an M.Ed. from The University of Georgia. Bebe is the mother of Sarah Beth ('14) and Jacqueline ('18).
Wendy Payne has served as Darlington's varsity and JV cheer coach for six years. She has worked at Darlington since 1999 and is the executive coordinator to the director of Pre-K to 8 as well as AP, ACT, and SAT testing coordinator. Previously, she was library assistant, teaching assistant, and director of Camp Delightascope and Cool Yule. Wendy is the mother of Tiffany (Payne) Horton ('02), Trey Payne ('08), and Payton Payne ('10).
Melissa Smyly has taught Upper School English at Darlington since 2017. She has coached varsity cheerleading at Darlington since 2019 and girls lacrosse since 2017. Melissa holds a B.S. from Auburn University and an M.A. in Media Technology from The University of West Alabama. Melissa is the mother of Emily Anne ('22), Jake ('24) and Loftin ('33).
