Each day of camp has a unique outfit theme. To conclude the week, campers will show off their talents as they put on a pep rally for parents and friends, complete with dances, cheers, pom poms and run-through signs. Camp participants will receive a set of Darlington pom-poms and a cheer T-shirt, and can perform before the first home football game of the Tigers' 2020 season.
Movie Star Monday: Dress up like your favorite character (Minnie, Goofy, Paw Patrol, etc.)
All Star Tuesday: Represent your favorite sports team
Wild West Wednesday: Dress like a cowboy/cowgirl
Throwback Thursday: Any 1950s -1980s theme
Go Tigers Friday: Camp T-shirt with black shorts or purple cheer skirt
A Pep Rally on Friday will cap the week's activities.
About the directors
Bebe Cline has taught fifth grade at Darlington since 2005. She currently serves as Team Leader for grades 3-5. She has coached varsity cheerleading at Darlington since 2011. Bebe holds a B.A. from Mercer University, an M.Ed. from The University of Georgia. Bebe is the mother of Sarah Beth ('14) and Jacqueline ('18).
Wendy Payne has served as Darlington's varsity and JV cheer coach for six years. She has worked at Darlington since 1999 and is the executive coordinator to the director of Pre-K to 8 as well as AP, ACT, and SAT testing coordinator. Previously, she was library assistant, teaching assistant, and director of Camp Delightascope and Cool Yule. Wendy is the mother of Tiffany (Payne) Horton ('02), Trey Payne ('08), and Payton Payne ('10).
