Welcome to Episode 75 of The Darlington Podcast! 

In this episode, Chief Advancement Officer Julie Lucas ('97) chats with Crawford Brock ('72) and Steve Winkler ('72, LD '15). The Class of 1972 shares a unique comaraderie that is legendary within the Darlington Community. Brock and Winkler reminisce on Darlington memories, talk about their upcoming 50th reunion celebration and share about their class-endowed scholarship. 

Julie Lucas ('97) joined Darlington's Advancement Office in 2007 and was named chief advancement officer in 2016. Previously, she has served as director of development, director of giving programs and campaign director for Darlington's Second Century Campaign. Julie holds a B.A. in Communication from Loyola University New Orleans.

Crawford Brock ('72) was a seven-year day student from Rome. At Darlington, he was involved in a variety of sports and was a member of the state champion soccer team of 1971. After graduating, he earned a B.S. from Florida State University. He bought luxury Dallas retailer Stanley Korshak in 2002, which he has managed since 1987. He lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife Janet.

Steve Winkler ('72, LD '15) was a four-year boarding student from Dalton, Ga. As a student, he was involved in the drama program, wrestling and served as the tennis team manager. After Darlington, he earned a B.A. from Vanderbilt University and an MHA from Duke University. He has spent his career working in healthcare administration in a variety of settings. He serves as a class agent for the Class of 1972. Winkler currently lives in Baton Rouge, La. with his wife Monica.
