Second-graders are learning how to answer the question ¿Cómo estás? (How are you?) in Spanish. Today they walked around and asked each other the question and then recorded the responses of their classmates.
Some of their favorite responses include Tengo hambre (I'm hungry), Estoy feliz como una lombriz (I'm as happy as a worm), and Tengo calor (I'm hot). They are having fun learning how to communicate in Spanish!
