Each year third-graders have the opportunity to learn about the events of 9/11 from someone who was actually there that day - our friend and first grade teacher Mrs. Peer. Mrs. Peer shared personal stories, photographs, newspaper and magazine articles, and personal insights with the students. Thank you Mrs. Peer for sharing with us your memories of a world changing event.
This year, Mrs. Peer read the book "The Little Chapel that Stood" by A.B. Curtiss that tells of the historic chapel less than 100 yards from the Twin Towers that miraculously survived on 9/11.
