Jess has worked at Darlington since 2013. Since 2017, she has served as the first grade teacher. Jess has worked at independent schools for the past 20 years in the roles of teacher, dorm parent, advisor and coach. Jess graduated from St. Lawrence University with a B.A in Government and her M.Ed from Clemson University. While at Darlington, Jess has been recognized with the Brown Award and the Beachum Master Teacher Award. Jess and her husband Matt, assistant head of school for enrollment management, are the parents of Jack (‘24) and Ella (‘27).
