Mary Kate Fowee has served as Pre-K to 8 librarian since 2022. She holds a B.A. in Studio Art and a Master of Library and Information Services from Florida State University. Fowee has nearly a decade of experience working in libraries, most recently serving as librarian and media specialist at Unity School of Delray Beach, a small private school in Florida. There, she developed a new, student-centered library curriculum and expanded library-based classes and electives. She is a member of the American Library Association and the American Association of School Librarians.
