Mary-Kate has served as Pre-K to 8 librarian since 2022. She holds a B.A. in Studio Art and a Master of Library and Information Sciences from Florida State University. Mary-Kate has over a decade of experience working in libraries. At Darlington she has developed new and exciting reading programs such as Iditaread, Readers to the Rescue and the Sinking Library. Mary-Kate also maintains and promotes the Makerspace,integrates technology in her lessons, helps with the robotics program, supports the student lead podcast team (Stinky Reads) and presented at the Georgia Educational Technology Conference. She is a member of the American Library Association and the American Association of School Librarians.
