The third through fifth grade hall in Thatcher Hall is very much like a community with classes blending for exploratory time and students learning to be more responsible as they change classes and use lockers.

Arts Integration with "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe"

Fifth-graders have been reading and studying "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" and Mrs. Fine and Mrs. Tunnell led the students through an arts integration lesson focusing on vocabulary from the novel.
As part of the fifth grade decimal unit, the students used a grocery store's weekly ad to work on adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing decimals.
