Imagine a place where your individuality and independence is welcome. Where you're a trusted member of a real community. Where you feel the pride and satisfaction of coming together for the greater good. A place where you can learn and discover new things, but that still feels familiar. This is boarding at Darlington School. It's time to make yourself at home.
All boarding students live in one of six English-style boarding houses on campus. Unlike other schools, each is managed by a full-time head of house who serves only that role for students. Day or night, there is never a shortage of helping hands when you need help on a homework assignment or advice about a friend.
And there's never a shortage of fun. Maybe you'll catch an adrenaline rush whitewater rafting one weekend. Spend your Saturday shopping in Atlanta. Or chill out with friends over a movie night in the dorm. And there's RUMPUS – the much-anticipated, fun-filled weekend of house competition each January that is chock full of student activities.
Named after the Italian city and just a short drive from Atlanta, the city of Rome, Ga., was built on seven hills with three rivers running between them. Our friendly city is quaint, vibrant and far from boring.
Our admission team makes beginning life as a boarding student simple and seamless.
