I read this spooky story to the third-graders last year and they LOVED it. The book opens up with sixth-grader Molly being taken into custody by a man claiming to be her great uncle. Her parents have disappeared and Molly thinks that this great uncle of hers has something to do with it. She then begins to have dreams about the terrible skeleton man and she wonders what this has to do with her situation now. Are Molly’s parents still alive? Will she ever figure out why her uncle stays up all night and locks her in her room? Read this chilling novel to find out.
