Six varsity football players have been named to the Rome News-Tribune All-Area team in football for both offense and defense and eight were listed as honorable mention players.
Offensive lineman Tate Ratledge (‘20) and defensive lineman Cade Brock (‘20) were both named to the first team. Running back Kolin Rogers (‘20), Demetrius Rogers (‘21), linebacker Tommy Atha, Jr. (‘19), and defensive back Kobe Nadu (‘20) were named to the second team.
The following players received honorable mention status: Tysen Dougherty (‘20), Alex Liddle (20), Rhett McDurmon (‘19), Frank Manning (‘20), Barrick Wade (‘19), Cam Watson (‘19), Roth Wilcox (‘19), Dawson Williams (‘20), and Colin Zazzaro (‘19).
Ratledge, Brock, Kolin Rogers, Demetrius Rogers, Atha, Dougherty, Liddle, McDurmon, Nadu, Manning, Wade, and Zazzaro were also named to the 6-A All-Region team in December.
