Darlington Connects: Way to Go, Tiger!

The Darlington Connects program continues to engage with our community by highlighting the accomplishments of our community through social media, blogs, and podcasts. We are excited to introduce our “Way to go, Tiger!” series, and we encourage you to follow along. 

Kristi (Buice) Brigman ('05) was recently promoted to division director of the global commerce division at the Georgia Department of Economic Development. 

Jacqueline Cline (‘18) graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing from the Medical College of Georgia. She was recently hired to be a NICU Nurse at Atrium Health Floyd (formerly Floyd Medical Center) in Rome.

Sarah Beth Cline (‘14) graduated with a Masters in Occupational Therapy from Brenau University in December of 2020. She is an occupational therapist at Advent Health (formerly Redmond Regional Medical Center) in Rome. 

Cam Collins (‘12) started a new position as an account manager for Silicon Valley Startups at Amazon Web Services (AWS). He has worked at AWS since May 2020. 

Jennifer (Crews) Davis (‘01, LD '14) was recently recognized in The 2022 Sevvie Awards. These are awarded by Severo Avila, a Rome News-Tribune columnist, who recognizes blessings in the Rome community that might not be getting the recognition they deserve. 

Aisling Field (‘18) started a new position as communication assistant with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System. She is a senior at Auburn University and is majoring in agricultural communications.

Allie Hurley (‘13) graduated from Lincoln Memorial University Anesthesia School as a registered nurse anesthetiston Dec. 11, 2021.

Grace Hurley (‘18) graduated summa cum laude from Auburn University on Dec. 11, 2021, with a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences. She plans to attend medical school in the fall. 

Barton Lowrey ('05, LD '14) was recently promoted to assistant director of the corporate solutions and cyber security team in global commerce at the Georgia Department of Economic Development.

Katie (Hurley) Lugo (‘15) graduated from the University of Georgia Law School in May of 2021. She was sworn in to the State Bar of Texas on Nov. 19, 2021, and married Jonathan Lugo on the same day!

Steve Moseley (‘87) will become president and CEO of MIDFLORIDA effective March 1, 2022. He has been employed with MIDFLORIDA since 1997 and has worked in nearly every aspect of the business.

Tate Morgan (‘17) graduated from the University of Alabama in December 2021 and is starting a new full-time position as sales assistant at Stanley Korshak. She interned in the eCommerce Department this past fall. Stanley Korshak, which is owned by alumnus Crawford Brock (’72), is an American luxury goods specialty department store in Dallas, Texas.

Gillian O’Nan (‘98) and her partners' firm, O'Nan & Bierlein, debuted a new name and logo and opened their second office in Cartersville, Ga., on Jan. 1, 2022,  providing an opportunity to better serve their Northwest Georgia clients. Their Buckhead office will continue to serve metropolitan clients.  

Alexander Roberts ('16) graduated with a Master of Science in Data Science and Engineering from Auburn University this past December.
