We are excited to announce that our second annual Giving Day will take place on Thursday, Feb. 10, which would be the 173rd birthday of J.J. Darlington, the teacher for whom our wonderful school was named.
Last year was our first-ever, 24-hour Giving Day and it was a huge success, raising over $60,000 for The Darlington Fund from over 300 donors! We look forward to another record-breaking day for The Darlington Fund and hope that you'll be part of it.
This year, our Giving Day campaign is chaired by Jordan Beck (’14), who made his first gift to The Darlington Fund on last year’s Giving Day. He will be assisted by Keara Evans (’16), the young alumni chair for The Darlington Fund. All donors who make a gift on or before Feb. 10 will receive a one-of-a-kind sticker created by Elsa Quay Corbin (’22), a talented student artist who is part of our Senior Ventures Program (stay tuned for the big reveal coming soon!)
Our community continues to come together as ONE school to support our students and teachers every day and we know Giving Day 2022 will be no exception. Every dollar raised will be put to immediate use this school year, supporting the unique experiences and programs that make Darlington so special. We are again asking anyone who has never made a gift to Darlington to consider making a gift of $19.05, an amount that honors the year we were founded.
