Tommy Atha Jr. (‘19) and Luke Lewis (‘21) were selected to the Student Alumni Council at UGA.
Brie Bishop ('18) was recently chosen as a member of the University of Tennessee Chancellor Commission for Disability team. Click here to read more about this group. She has also been accepted to graduate school at the University of Tennessee.
Lulie Ebaugh, mother of sixth-grader Victor Chin, has been named the new executive director for the Rome Area Council for the Arts. Click here to read more about her new role.
Winston Gammon (‘16) was recently sworn in under the Law Student Practice Act and will be working for the Macon-Bibb County Public Defender's Office while finishing Law School at Mercer University.
Villa Sulzbacher Hizer ('66T, LD '12) and Lauren Sklar were honored for their volunteer work in the Rome community at the 2022 Heart of Community Awards. Villa received the Board of Governors’ Award. Lauren, mother of Abby (‘18) and Emma (‘22), received one of the Heart of the Community Awards of Honor.
Linda Jennings, mother of Lucas (‘11) and Remy (‘13), was recently spotlighted for her work with Make-a-Wish.
Hannah Jones (‘17) received an ADDY at the 2022 AAF Birmingham American Advertising Federation for her Keystone Lexia Typeface, a body copy typeface that supports people with dyslexia. The uppercase and lowercase characters are uniquely designed and modified to prevent optical flipping, rotating and reversing of letterforms. Keystone Lexia has been a passion project for Hannah as she, too, is dyslexic. As an ADDY winner, she will move on to the next level of competition this spring --AAF District 7 (southeastern region).
Elijah E. McKoy ('17) started a new position as a sales representative with Taylor Corp.
Lauren (Boiling) Seeger ('05, LD '17) recently started a new position as senior content strategist at U.S. Legal Support.
