Welcome to Episode 71 of The Darlington Podcast! 

In this episode, Assistant Head of School for Academic Affairs Stefan Eady talks with Director of Upper School Chad Woods, Assistant Director of Pre-K to 8 Angela Pieroni and Upper School Learning Specialist and Registrar Justin Bruce. Together, they talk about how students and their families can prepare for a successful school year by establishing healthy habits and routines, both inside and outside of the classroom.

Stefan Eady has held a variety of different roles in communications, web development and information technology since he began working at Darlington in 1997. In 2016, he was named assistant head of school for academic resources and, in 2021, assistant head of school for academic affairs. He also teaches AP Computer Science and is an assistant cross country coach. Stefan holds a B.A. from Berry College and an M.S.I.S. from Kennesaw State University. 

Chad Woods joined the faculty as a math teacher in 2006 and now serves as director of Upper School. He holds a B.S. and M.Ed. from the University of West Georgia. His previous roles at Darlington have included dean of studies, master scheduler, math department chair, head baseball coach, head softball coach and head golf coach. 

Angela Pieroni has been a member of the middle grades faculty since 2001 and now serves as assistant director of Pre-K to 8. She holds a B.S. from the University of Dayton and an M.Ed. from Walden University.

Justin Bruce has served as a learning specialist at the Upper School since 2016 and took on the additional role of registrar this year. He holds a B.S. in Collaborative Special Education from Auburn University, a Masters in Special Education Adaptive Curriculum from the University of West Georgia, and an Ed.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University.
