Welcome to Episode 102 of The Darlington Podcast! 

In this episode, Director of Alumni Relations Vicki Vincent chats with Beth (Hackett) Pride ('87) about her Darlington experience and the influence it had on her life, her career journey and her most recent creative project, a multimedia project and book titled "The CommonWealth of Kentucky Project." 

Vicki Vincent first joined the Advancement Office in 1995. Since then, she has held a variety of different roles including class agent officer and director of alumni relations. She is responsible for the development and management of alumni programs for Darlington, including the Alumni Council, the Class Agent Program and special events like Alumni Weekend.

Beth (Hackett) Pride ('87) was a six-year day-student from Rome. At Darlington, she was heavily involved in athletics, as a cheerleader and a member of the track, basketball and soccer teams. Pride went on to attend the University of Georgia, where she obtained a degree in English. She has held various roles at both public and independent schools throughout the course of her career, and most recently served as an advancement ambassador at The Lexington School before leaving to pursue creative projects full-time. She is the author of "The CommonWealth of Kentucky Project" and lives in Lexington, Ky. with her husband Dan.
