Welcome to Episode 122 of The Darlington Podcast!
In this episode, Assistant Head of School for Academic Affairs Stefan Eady talks with Upper School Counselor Chris Allen, Learning Specialist Jennifer Luitwieler and Dean of Students Brant Evans. Together, they share back-to-school tips for students and families from grades pre-K through 12 as the new school year approaches.
Stefan Eady has held a variety of different roles in communications, web development and information technology since he began working at Darlington in 1997. In 2016, he was named assistant head of school for academic resources and, in 2021, assistant head of school for academic affairs. He also teaches AP Computer Science. Stefan holds a B.A. from Berry College and an M.S.I.S. from Kennesaw State University.
Chris Allen has been a member of Darlington’s counseling staff since 2006, working primarily with Upper School students. He also teaches AP Psychology, is a dorm parent and serves as a class grade-level chairman. Chris holds a B.A. from Carson-Newman College and an M.A. from Argosy University in Atlanta.
Jennifer Luitwieler has been a member of Darlington's Teaching & Learning Center staff since 2017 and holds a B.A. in English from Chatham University. She has also taught English at the upper and middle grade levels.
Brant Evans came to Darlington in 2008 and currently serves as dean of student life at the Upper School. He also teaches AP government classes and coaches cross country. Brant holds a B.A. in History and an M.Ed. in Social Sciences from the University of Georgia.
