I hope you're all doing well and enjoying life to the fullest. It's such a pleasure to be reaching out to you as the new president of our Alumni Association. As we begin a new academic year, I am thrilled to share some exciting updates and extend heartfelt gratitude.
First and foremost, mark your calendars for Alumni Weekend, taking place from Oct. 6-8. I want to encourage you to return to the Lakeside even if it’s not your reunion year. The Saturday evening Alumni Lawn Party will be tons of fun and is a great opportunity to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate the bonds that tie us to Darlington School. I also want to take a moment to express our sincere thanks to all the generous alumni who supported The Darlington Fund this past year. Your generosity is truly appreciated and has made a significant impact on the growth and development of our school.
Now, speaking of giving back, I’d like to throw a little challenge your way. If you live in Georgia, let's rally together and support students through an initiative called GA GOAL Scholarship Fund. Your participation can ensure that future generations of students get to experience the magic of a Darlington experience.
As we look to the year ahead, I want to connect you with an amazing group of alumni serving on the Alumni Council, the Young Alumni Council and as your Class Agents.
