The Teaching and Learning Center hosted a visiting team from Oak Hill School yesterday comprised of Learning Specialist Mary Kate (Watters) Boston ('05), Head of School Hart Roper, and Director of Learning Services Maggie Counter.

The day of professional learning included a presentation from the Director of the Teaching and Learning Center Jessica Laliberte, round-table discussion with Darlington faculty, a tour, and classroom observations.

"Mary Kate and her colleagues were keenly interested in learning more about the value of Darlington's Teaching and Learning Center, including the unique ways we offer reading support for dyslexic learners, how we support all of our students with learning differences by emphasizing explicit instruction in executive functioning skills, and much more!" said Laliberte. "The Teaching and Learning Center loves opportunities to lead by example and demonstrate our commitment to supporting the academic enrichment of the Darlington Community through professional learning and outreach."
