Outstanding athletes in varsity basketball, swim/dive and wrestling were recognized at the Winter Sports Assembly on Monday, Feb. 26, in Morris Chapel.
Girls' Basketball:
Senior Audrey Abbott of Rome, Ga. received the Academic Award and the Pillar Award.
Juniors Emma Hunt of Rome, Ga. and Caroline Jordan of Cedartown, Ga. received the Most Valuable Performer Award.
Boys' Basketball:
Senior Jack Bell of Rome, Ga. received the Academic Award and the Pillar Award
Seniors Mackay Rush of Rome, Ga. and Joseph Womack of Cartersville, Ga. also received the Pillar Award.
Girls' Swim/Dive:
Senior Maya Pandya of Rome, Ga. received the Academic Award.
Senior Mary Blair Fuller of Rome, Ga. received the Pillar Award.
Boys' Swim/Dive:
Senior Zhenhao Xue of Zhejiang, China received the Academic Award.
Freshman Will Willerson of Rome, Ga. received the Most Valuable Performer Award.
Sophomore Sammy Lewis of Nassau, Bahamas received the Pillar Award.
Wrestling:
Senior Aden Davis of Anniston, Al. received the Academic Award and the Most Valuable Performer Award.
