Senior Harrison Inman was named Darlington's nominee for the Exchange Club of Rome's Youth of the Year competition. The competition recognizes high school students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership and a strong commitment to community service.
Inman is a nine-year day student from Rome, Ga who serves on the Discipline Committee and as a day leader in Neville House. He has taken 16 Honors and AP classes in high school. Inman is active in the Concert Choir, Darlington Players, "Y" Cabinet, Student Activities Committee and Arts Council. He is a member of the varsity football and track and field teams. Inman is a member of the Senior Ventures class, where his project focuses on bridging the arts and athletics communities at Darlington. He is the son of Tara and Brian Inman.
Inman and the other finalists were recognized at the Exchange Club's regular meeting, where the Youth of the Year award was given to Armuchee High School’s Manrajpreet “Mannu” Singh.
