Darlington was represented well this past Thursday at the Round 1 competition of the GISA Spelling Bee.
Held at the lovely Cottage School in Roswell, the competition included 50 words for the students to spell, as well as 50 vocabulary questions, and 10 "tie-breaker" mega-difficult words! Parker Scott and Luke Pearson, who both claimed the title of spelling bee champions in our school-wide competition, did their very best in this meeting of the minds, and though they will not be moving on to Round 2, the experience was worth the work!
