Three Darlington juniors graduated from the Emerge High School Leadership Program sponsored by the Rome Floyd Chamber of Commerce. Timmy King, Emily Richie and Emi Grace Wood were selected to represent Darlington at Emerge for the 2023-2024 academic year. Emerge’s mission is to develop the leadership skills of current and emerging student leaders throughout Rome. Students attended monthly sessions designed to educate them on critical issues facing the Rome-Floyd community and to provide them with the knowledge and skills that will allow them to best serve their community.
