Upper School students in the Community Service iPeriods sponsored by Ms. Shores and Ms. Pichardo worked to make birthdays more special for local children this spring semester. Through a partnership with Mrs. Monisha Patel and Brighter Birthdays, students signed birthday cards and prepared over 200 party packs for children in the community. Brighter Birthdays is a community service organization that helps under resourced children celebrate their birthdays through the delivery of bags filled with toys and living essentials. Party packs created by Darlington students included a card, napkins, party plates, party favors and sweet treats.
