Darlington's pre-K class has been serving the Davies Homeless Shelter since it opened over 14 years ago. Each month, the Smarties prepare a meal in class together for the shelter's residents. In February, we visit the Shelter, learn more about all the services they provide and get to see firsthand where our meals are served each month. The class also makes Valentine's Day goodie bags to leave for the residents! It has been such a privilege and pleasure to serve others in our community. The goal has always been to instill a love for doing things for others and what's more of an appropriate time to do so than in Pre-K.
