Third-graders "wrapped" up their math unit on area and perimeter by using wrapping paper, meter sticks, and rulers to create square meters and square feet. They used both of these to measure and find the area of various items in their classroom and in the 3-5 hallway. They also had to choose various objects in their own house and decide which unit of measure would be the best one to use to find those areas.
