Teams of 3-4 physics students put their physics knowledge to the test by building cardboard boats using only two 4 ft x 8 ft sheets of cardboard (donated by Dalton Box - A TRG Company) and 60 yards of duct tape. Two members from each team then paddled their boat across Silver Lake at Darlington. Of the 25 teams that competed, 12 successfully made it across the lake.
The top three finishers are listed below:
1st place - Wes Knight, Henry Patel, Ronik Patel, and Barrett Woods
2nd place - Clara Davis, Anne Walker Ellington, and Allie Reynolds
3rd place - Addison Hightower, Jillian Loy, Evy Molnar, and Madison Paxten
