The Mathematics Department at Darlington School seeks a long term substitute teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The anticipated start date is mid-September and the duration could be through December. This educator would join a dynamic environment of teaching professionals who are continuously growing and collaborating. The candidate must be open to learning from his/her colleagues and is comfortable sharing ideas and collaborating with his/her colleagues. The candidate must also demonstrate fluency and extensive knowledge of important concepts in the discipline and how they relate to other areas of school.
In this episode, Head of School Brent Bell reflects on the Class of 2025 with Upper School Director Chad Woods, Student Body President Atlas Kosedag ('25), Honor Council President Anna Nguyen ('25) and Discipline Committee President Angeline Myrie ('25). They discuss the senior class's academic, athletic and artistic achievements, as well as some of their most memorable moments as Darlington students.
As we enter the final weeks of the school year, I want to thank everyone for their hard work, dedication and spirit that have defined our journey together. It’s hard to believe how quickly the year has gone by.
As we start thinking about the end of the school year, Darlington will be a busy place these last weeks with Prom in two weeks, leadership interviews and elections, honor society inductions, and award ceremonies.
Preregistration Day may feel like a break from regular classwork, but it plays a crucial role in planning our courses. It helps us determine the number of class sections needed and ensures smaller class sizes.
