In Mr. Eberhart’s fifth period class, students took learning to new heights—literally. Using parachute people and the laws of physics, they explored slope-intercept form by dropping their mini skydivers from one, two, four, and eight feet. Armed with data and curiosity, they built their own equations to predict the fall time from a whopping 20 feet and nailed it. Math met motion, and the results were nothing short of awesome.
