Toni King

Science Teacher

Dr. Toni King has served as Upper School biology and anatomy and physiology teacher since 2019. With over 20 years of research and collegiate-level instruction, she came to Darlington from Georgia Highlands College, where she was an adjunct instructor in the Division of Natural Sciences. She holds a B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Ark., and a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. Toni was a postdoctoral research fellow in molecular oncology at Washington University in St. Louis, Miss., and in microbiology and immunology at Northwestern University in Chicago, Ill.
