Maddie Chastain

Content Manager

Maddie has served as content manager in the Communication Office since 2022 and is a member of the residential duty staff. In her role, she manages and produces content for the Darlington Community, from galleries, blogs, news stories, and The Darlington Podcast to the school’s social media profiles. One of her favorite ongoing projects is the production of the monthly Instagram series “Talks With Tiny Tigers.” Maddie holds a B.A. in Communication from Berry College. While there, she spent three years working on digital marketing for the Center for Personal and Professional Development and serving as a first-year mentor for the Berry College Office of Academic Transitions. Additionally, she held communication/marketing internships with Gordon County Schools, The Big Fake Wedding and the Sexual Assault Center of NWGA. In 2024, Maddie was recognized with one of Darlington’s James Douglas Brown Jr. Faculty Awards. She is also a member of the Rome Floyd Chamber Leadership Rome Class of XXXXII. Maddie and her husband, Jacob, live on campus with their Golden Retriever, Rocky.
